
Bio
Chloe Kwok is an British-born Chinese composer and musician, who is currently an in-house, Senior Composer at Rare Ltd (Xbox Games Studio). She is composing for BAFTA Best Evolving Game, Sea of Thieves, alongside Robin Beanland.
After graduating from the University of Huddersfield in 2019, with a First Class Honours in BA(Hons) Music and Sound for Image, Chloe joined Rare Ltd in the following months as an Audio Intern, before continuing on full-time in a 'Musician' role. As a multi-instrumentalist, Chloe is classically trained in both the Piano and Violin, adding the Guitar and Vocals in her latter years. Alongside her knowledge in western instruments, her knowledge also extends into ethnic instruments such as: Dizi, Xiao and the Lyre.
In 2023, Chloe was listed in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe, in the Sports and Games category.
During her time at Rare, Chloe has shipped many major updates to the Sea of Thieves musical in-game soundscape; composing, orchestrating and implementing interactive music that brings the world alive.

Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life (2020) - A collaboration with Disney's Pirates of the Carribean and Sea of Thieves. Composing music in parallel with Robin Beanland, mixing the iconic soundtrack of PoTC with the melodies of Sea of Thieves.

Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island (2023) - Another major collaboration with a Disney IP, Monkey Island.
Since the release of Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island, Chloe has since been leading the Seasonal in-game and marketing music for Sea of Thieves.
