
Bio
Chloe Kwok is a British-born Chinese composer and musician, who is currently working on Sea of Thieves and upcoming game Everwild, as a part of the music and audio team at Rare Ltd.
After graduating from the University of Huddersfield in 2019, with a First Class Honours in BA(Hons) Music and Sound for Image, Chloe joined Rare Ltd in the following months as an Audio Intern, before continuing on full-time in a 'Musician' role.
In 2023, Chloe was listed in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe, in the Sports and Games category.
During her time at Rare, Chloe has contributed to the enrichment of the Sea of Thieves musical in-game soundscape, writing and scoring interactive music that brings the world alive.

Leading the music composition and implementation on Sea of Thieves: Season 8, creating epic battle music, scoring cutscenes and new bespoke musical stings to create a new riveting PvP experience.

Composing music for Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life in parallel with Robin Beanland. This was a collaboration between Disney and Rare Ltd, which provided the task of creatively melding the Pirates of the Carribean soundtrack together with the Sea of Thieves soundtrack. Chloe wrote music primarily in Tall Tale 2: The Sunken Pearl, whilst also providing scores for the other 4 Tall Tales. A notable addition, was providing the singing vocals of the Siren Queen and the Sirens.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Chloe is classically trained in both the Piano and Violin, adding the Guitar and Vocals in her latter years. Alongside her knowledge in western instruments, her knowledge also extends into ethnic instruments such as: Dizi, Xiao and the Lyre.
